Before you can invest in Outsider, we’d like to find out who you are and what makes you tick. Please fill out this short application (link below) letting us know why you’d be a valuable member of our community.
Once our team has reviewed and approved your application we will email you our Operating and Subscription Agreements for signature, and include instructions for how to connect your wallet and make your investment into our treasury.
Once this process is complete, you will be invited to an official kickoff call with our founders and granted access to our private communication channels with the other investors.
What Happens Next?
- Response time: After you’ve applied, expect to hear from us by email within two weeks. At that time, we will let you know whether you have been accepted, denied or waitlisted.
- Denied applications: If you are denied, it may simply be because we are looking for investors with specific skills or experience – or have too many with those similar to yours – and we welcome you to reapply after three months of your initial application.
- How to contact us: Immediately after you’ve submitted your application, please join our public Discord server, which is open to anyone. Though we’ll email you the result of your application, Discord is the best way for you to reach out and talk to someone on our team in real time.
Word to the Wise
- Member priority: Outsider prioritizes metaverse creators, artists, creative thinkers and entrepreneurs with a proven track record of building, scaling, advising and investing in companies. Those already familiar with the Web3 and software industries will be given priority. If this isn’t you, that’s okay too, but tell us why you would be a good fit :)
- Shared values: While sharing your professional accomplishments is an important part of the application, it's also not the only thing we care about. We’re just as interested in learning what you value and what your personal interests are.
- Answer format: Our time is valuable but so is yours. A few brief conversationally written sentences per question should provide us with adequate information on who you are, and if we’d like to know more we may contact you.
- Referrals: If you already know someone in Outsider, let us and them know you’re applying. A vote of confidence from someone in our network goes a long way.
- Identity: We require the identity of all investors, so unfortunately at this time we are not accepting applications from anonymous applicants.
